Lafayette, IN - The Audiology Foundation of America (AFA) is accepting nominations for Outstanding Au.D. Student Scholarships through January 31, 2005. Students, who must be nominated by their program directors, are selected based on academic achievement and professional potential.
Established in 2001, the scholarships are funded by a grant from the Oticon Foundation, also known and the William Demant and Wife Ida Emilie Foundation. The scholarships will be awarded to two second year and two third year Au.D. students in 2005. Each will receive $4500.
"The AFA is very happy to be able to offer the Outstanding Au.D. Student Scholarships again in 2005. The caliber of students who have received the scholarships in the past has been exceptional. We are very pleased to support the education of four more future Doctors of Audiology," according AFA Executive Director Susan B. Paarlberg.
