Salus University students and faculty members from the optometry, audiology and occupational therapy programs recently volunteered at the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Fall Festival at Villanova University. This event is the largest annual student-run Special Olympics event in the world. As part of the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes Lions Club International Opening Eyes Program, Salus optometry students and faculty provided vision screenings, eye exams and eyewear. In addition, Salus Audiology students and faculty provided hearing screenings at the event.
