Phonak is pleased to announce that Ron Gleitman, Ph.D. has joined the Phonak team in the position of Director of Practice Development. Dr. Gleitman brings ten years of success in developing and managing private Audiology practices to this new role. He will be responsible for developing a program to assist hearing professionals start or enhance their practices.
Ron Gleitman received his Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1992. He owned and operated a successful multi-office Audiology practice for 8 years in the Chicago area. In addition to his private practice, he has been published numerous times in professional journals and is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University.
The Phonak Practice Development program is designed to assist dispensing practices, as well as help new dispensers to successfully compete in their market place. Services provided by Phonak will be a two-track approach. Track I is designed for public presentations and generic information about owning and managing a practice. Track II is designed for personal or account specific detailed analysis on the development and management of a practice.
