Bloomington, Minnesota- August 17, 2009 - ReSound has been selected as one of the suppliers for the new Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Digital Hearing Aid Contract. The selection criteria used by the VA in selecting suppliers focused on technical expertise, experience and capacity.

The Department of Veteran Affairs Digital Hearing Aid Contract takes effect November 1, 2009 at which time ReSound products will be available to veterans through the VA clinics. The contract includes not only the VA, but also the Department of Defense and other federal agencies within the 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Under the previous contract, ReSound technology was offered through its sister brand, Interton.
