ReSound is now offering online training courses for audiologists to obtain CEU credits.
Bloomington, MN, August 16, 2012 - www.gnresound.com - ReSound, a technology leader in hearing aid solutions, has launched its own CEU training program for hearing care professionals, available online in conjunction with Brainshark.
Available immediately, ReSound is now offering 11 online courses worth 2.5 CEUs applicable to ASHA and AAA certification.
"We've consistently heard from our customers that they value the training and education modules we offer, but that they want more options and more flexibility," said Mary Rapaport, Director of Product Marketing, ReSound. "Providing the ability for our customers to conveniently earn CEUs online helps our customers acquire skills and information that are important to them, while helping them manage an already-busy schedule."
To participate in the program, participants can visit ReSound eCademy's self-registration web page to enroll themselves in the program. They will immediately have access to all 11 courses. On proper completion of the program, customers need to provide requested information, shown in each course, to resoundceu@gnresound.com, and ReSound will submit the information to the appropriate accrediting agency.
ReSound is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA),the American Academy of Audiologists (AAA), and the International Hearing Society (IHS), to provide continuing education courses.
Courses offered are based on ReSound technology and include Alera, Aventa, Unite Mini Microphone, WindGuard and Environmental Optimizer training modules.
