Bloomington, Minn. - ReSound is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2008 Audiology Student Outreach Scholarship Program.
At the AAA AudiologyNOW! 2008 Convention, ReSound continued its commitment to the advancement of the audiology profession. At the convention, ReSound awarded five $1,000 scholarships to audiology students to assist with education costs. John Nelson, Vice President of Audiology & Professional Services for ReSound, said, "This is just part of our extensive effort to support students studying for a degree in audiology. Audiology doctoral students are the future of the audiology profession and we want to support them in whatever way we can."
Over 300 audiology doctoral students who learned about ReSound technology and innovations at the convention were entered into a random drawing for the scholarships. The scholarship winners are: Jennifer Mcinnish, Jamie Glater, Ed Palacios, Connie Miller, and Megan Vargo.
