GN ReSound has released our latest software upgrade, Aventa 1.2 Fitting Software. The new software was designed to support the whole Canta family line of products from the Canta7 through to the new Canta2. Aventa 1.2 comes equipped with a PowerPoint Canta2 tutorial which walks you through the programming process for Canta2 instruments.
Additional features added to the software are a Patient Profile that contains information about client age and first time user, as well as a slide volume control of +/- 16dB that allows for adjustment of all beep levels in the entire Canta Family of hearing instruments. With this version of the software the Maximum Stable Gain curve is now included in the print out.
One of the most exciting new features of the new Aventa 1.2 Fitting Software is a tool referred to as SoundXpert. This tool is an environmental signal generator that allows you to present a variety of both auditory and visual signals to your patients. This will allow audiologists to verify their patient's performance with Canta instruments.
