Somerset, NJ March 14 -- The physical environment of an office can affect staff morale and productivity and even color patients' perception of the quality of care they are receiving. Oticon, Inc. invites practitioners whose office space is not keeping up with the technology, skills and services they offer to enter the Oticon $100,000 Office Makeover Contest. To win, practitioners simply write an essay of 300 words or less detailing their vision of the office of the future, how it might function to deliver an exemplary experience, and why their practice should be selected for a "makeover." From the entries, Oticon will select winning practitioners to receive office makeovers - with total awards valued at up to $100,000.
"As new devices such as Delta continue to change peoples' perceptions of hearing care, growth within our industry will come about as a result of manufacturers and practitioners sharing a strong desire to deliver an optimal experience for the patient," states Peer Lauritsen, president of Oticon, Inc. "The physical environment in which we deliver hearing care can have an enormous impact upon a practice's ability to attract these new users and convert them into satisfied hearing instrument wearers."
Winning entries will receive an exceptional package of assistance in creating an "office of the future" which will demonstrate how hearing care can be delivered in an environment that patients will find attractive and motivating.
To enter, practitioners must submit an essay of 300 words or less describing their vision of the office of the future. Each entry may include up to 10 "before" photos of their office. Deadline for entries is June 1. Entries can be submitted on line at practicemakeover@oticonusa.com or by mail to: Practice Makeover, 29 Schoolhouse Rd., Somerset, NJ 08873
