San Antonio, TX. April 19, 2010. - AudiologyOnline is pleased to announce a new expert e-seminar series focused on practice development by Brian Taylor, Au.D. of Unitron.
The e-seminar series consists of four 1-hour e-seminars presented throughout the year on AudiologyOnline. Dates and topics include: Monday, May 24th, Quality at the point of sale: Finding the gaps;Friday, July 30th;Value-added services for your practice: Minding the gaps;Friday, October 29th, Identifying priorities and creating action Plans: Closing the gap. The series will conclude on Friday, December 17th with Measuring what's meaningful: the balanced scorecard for audiology practices.
Based on the Balanced Scorecard system and Root cause Analysis, two proven business tools used by thousands of organizations around the world, these e-seminars will offer tools and tactics to improve the quality and efficiency a hearing care practice. Using the most recent MarkeTrak and Unitron benchmarking surveys, Dr. Taylor will examine common gaps found in hearing aid dispensing practices and offer process and execution improvements in several areas, such as patient retention, appointment scheduling, pricing strategy, and quality at the point of sale.
Dr. Taylor is Professional Development Manager of Unitron in Plymouth, Minnesota. He earned his Au.D from Central Michigan University and has over 15 years of clinical and practice management experience.
