In addition to its robust publishing program, Plural also supports the growth of the professions it serves and has established the Plural Publishing Research Scholarship Awards in Honor of Dr. Sadanand Singh (1934-2010) who was a well-known professor in speech-language pathology. The scholarships are given out annually to two recipients at the masters and doctoral levels by the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD).
