The jury of distinguished architects and curators selected 500 product designs and graphics from over 36 countries out of a record number of entries. According to the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, the awarded Phonak products "revived awareness about contemporary design [and] have chartered new directions and pushed the envelope for competitive products in the world marketplace."

This is already the second design award for the Phonak Ambra line, as the model microM was also recognized with the prestigious iF product design award in 2010. These awards are symbolic for Phonak's ambition to establish itself as an innovation and technology leader, without neglecting the importance of design and esthetics.

Airport, Washington D.C.), Charles and Ray Eames (Herman Miller and Vitra design furniture) and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr, Chicago Athenaeum museum considers GOOD DESIGN® to be the world's most recognized design excellence program.
