Educational programs include Phonak technology specialist.
WARRENVILLE, IL (March 30, 2005) - Phonak Hearing Systems has launched two easy-to-implement practice management programs for hearing professionals. The programs are designed to attract first-time patients and to increase retention of existing patients.
The "Lunch n Learn" program provides a Phonak technology specialist to conduct a local consumer educational seminar for patients coming to grips with hearing loss. This is a tested program that has proven effective in generating new patients and providing quality outcomes. The seminar explains the physiology of hearing loss in a non-threatening way and introduces the range of advanced technology available to provide benefit. Program materials include a direct mail kit to promote the event and consumer information handouts to provide additional information on hearing loss and product options to seminar attendees.
The "Gold Mine" patient retention program is designed to inform existing patients of on-going advances in hearing technology to assure that they benefit from the latest breakthroughs in hearing science. The seminar program provides patient education materials at no cost and a suggested protocol for mailings and informational seminars. The program also provides a trained Phonak technology specialist to conduct demonstrations.
"Lunch n Learn" and "Gold Mine" are part of Phonak's commitment to assist hearing professionals to market their practices to both new and current patients with proven, cost-effective techniques," said Ron Gleitman, Ph.D., Manager of Practice Development.
