Phonak Field Study Trials - MicroPower

First results from microPower Field Tests. Performances of microPower for Speech in noise intelligibility and directionality were assessed and compared to results obtained on the same tests by a benchmark device also based on an external receiver design, as well as a highly performing but still standard 311 BTE. Results show that microPower produced as good outcomes as a BTE device but did better than the benchmark external receiver hearing instrument. microPower thus successfully broke the size barrier while keeping outstanding gain and sound quality characteristics.
