June 10, 2019 – For the second straight year, Phonak is a proud sponsor of the Child’s Voice Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 11 at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, IL. Now in its 14th year, the annual golf outing held by Child’s Voice is expected to host over 200 golfers, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. To date, the organization has generated over $1M to help children with hearing loss learn vital listening and speaking skills that are critical to lifelong success.
“We’re honored to support an organization like Child’s Voice whose mission of helping children with hearing loss succeed is closely aligned with Phonak’s longstanding commitment to the pediatric market,” said Sandy Brandmeier, President of Phonak U.S. “Our golfers are looking forward to interacting with students and family members in what is sure to be a successful and worthwhile event.”
“We thank Phonak for their generous donation and ongoing support of children with hearing loss,” said Mike and Katie Schroeder of Child’s Voice. “As chairs of this wonderful event, and parents to two current Child’s Voice students, we are excited to host an event that will raise funds to allow Child’s Voice to positively impact their lives.”
The golf tournament is a scramble format and will feature various on-course contests, including challenging Child’s Voice alumni to a driving challenge. Following the tournament is a helicopter ball drop, cocktail reception, dinner, raffle, live auction, and alumni speakers.
Registration for the tournament is open to the public and can be found at www.childsvoice.org.
