Oticon “Pink with a Purpose” Donates $10,000 to National Breast Cancer Coalition

Oticon President Peer Lauritsen presents a check for $10,780 to Daniell Griffin, Director of Development at National Breast Cancer Coalition. The check represents the proceeds from the Oticon Pink with a Purpose campaign.  During October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Oticon donated a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the special edition Alta Think Pink and all Alta hearing solutions to the National Breast Cancer Coalition to support breast cancer research.  This annual campaign resonates with hearing care professionals and patients alike, giving people with hearing loss the opportunity to choose the performance they need and the modern design they want and, at the same time, support a deserving cause. As part of the month-long awareness-building campaign, a team of Oticon employees showed their support for breast cancer awareness by joining more than 20,000 other New Jersey residents in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Jackson, New Jersey.    The company also staged a special Think Pink Day at the Oticon’s headquarters where medical staff from the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital provided breast health and wellness advice to the Oticon team.
