Daniell Griffin of the National Breast Cancer Coalition accepts a check for $10,000 from Sheena Oliver, Vice President of Marketing for Oticon, Inc. The check represents the proceeds from the Oticon Pink with a Purpose campaign. During October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Oticon donated a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the special edition Intiga Think Pink and other Intiga or IntigaË¡ hearing solutions to the National Breast Cancer Coalition to support breast cancer research. This annual campaign resonates with hearing care professionals and patients alike, giving people with hearing loss the opportunity to choose the performance they need and the modern design they want and, at the same time, support a deserving cause. In October, Oticon employees participated in one of country’s largest American Cancer Society walks in New York City’s Central Park. The company also staged a special Think Pink day at the company’s headquarters where medical staff from the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital provided breast health and wellness advice to the Oticon team.
