Somerset, NJ March 26, 2007 - Oticon, Inc. today announced the launch of the company's new website, www.oticonusa.com. This new site offers a multitude of new features and content with easy and intuitive navigation for hearing care professionals and consumers.
"Our plan is to continually update the website content to insure that we are providing easy access to the most accurate, most up-to-date information on hearing care and hearing care solutions," states Gordon Wilson, Oticon's Vice President of Marketing. "Our business partners will find www.oticonusa.com to be a comprehensive resource for the latest news on Oticon products, technical and audiological breakthroughs and other issues important to hearing care professionals. Audiology students and consumers will each find information tailored to address their interests and needs."
An important addition to the new website is a special password protected "My Oticon" section which is designed to enable hearing care professionals to conduct business with Oticon faster, more easily and more efficiently than ever before. "Transactions from product ordering to order tracking and serial history can take place on-line at www.oticonusa.com 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, " notes Wilson.
Technical information on Oticon's entire product line can easily be accessed and downloaded. The consumer section presents new Oticon product offerings in an easy-to-understand format and directs potential end-users to Oticon hearing care professionals in their areas via a Hearing Center Locator.
Douglas L. Beck Au.D., Oticon's Director of Professional Relations, points out that www.oticonusa.com features an Audiology Student Resource Center (ASRC) specifically designed to address the needs of graduate students in audiology. "ASRC contains our most recent articles, as well as an archive of articles and other informative content," Beck explains. "Additionally, for audiology students who'd like to attend this year's 10th annual Oticon Summer Camp in Colorado, applications and other support documents can be downloaded from the ASRC."
