Oticon Expands Sales and Training Team

Oticon, Inc. has expanded its sales and training force by 50 percent to better meet the needs of hearing professionals. A number of knowledgeable account managers, education and training professionals, pediatric specialists and audiology support staff have been integrated into the regional teams that serve Oticon customers in the field as well as from the company's Somerset, New Jersey facility.

The new regional teams are designed to help Oticon business partners stay ahead and improve their practices with timely updates on new products, marketing and special initiatives. The changes also mean more highly qualified people available to help customers apply the audiological principles embedded in Oticon products and software to enhance the success of client fittings.

"We are confident that adding these experienced professionals to our regional teams will build on and enhance the high standards of customer service and audiology support that hearing care professionals have come to expect from Oticon," stated Peer Lauritsen, Oticon's Executive Vice President.

New Account Managers

Northeast


Ron Brown
Inside Account Representative


Ron, who holds a B.S. degree in Medical Technology, moves from his role in Government Services to his new position in the Northeast Region. He will utilize experience gained working in customer support for major hearing instrument manufacturers to help Oticon customers improve their practices through product marketing and special initiative support.


Carol Caldwell
Au.D, CCC-A Pediatrics


Carol has more than 20 years experience with pediatric diagnostics and hearing aid fittings. She has worked closely with physicians, schools and community agencies to provide comprehensive services to children and their families.




Kelly Cedor
M.A., CCC-A (Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Eastern MA)


Kelly brings over 10 years of experience working as a dispensing audiologist to her new position. Prior to spending the last few years at home with her young family, Kelly was an Account Manager for Oticon, Inc.




Sara Skarp
M.S., CCC-A (Vermont, CT, Western MA, Southeastern New York)


Sara is an audiologist with over ten years of clinical experience including diagnostic testing and hearing aid fitting with pediatric and adult clients. She received her Master's Degree in Audiology from Purdue University.




Sheryl Vigee
M.S., CCC-A (PA, West Virginia)


Sheryl has been with Oticon since 2002, serving as Regional Audiologist in the Midwest, and most recently as Account Representative in the Northeast. Sheryl came to Oticon with nine years clinical audiology and hearing instrument fitting experience




Southeast

Thomas Dimitriou
Inside Account Representative


Thomas brings a wealth of experience in customer service from his years in the Travel Industry where he worked as a customer support supervisor and manager. He holds a B.S. in International Business.




Stephanie Hogan
M.A., CCA-A Pediatrics


Stephanie earned her bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and her Masters in Audiology from Western Michigan University. Her professional experience includes diagnostics and fitting and dispensing hearing aids in large private ENT practices and non-profit hospitals with a primary focus on pediatrics.



Ellen Kesler Williams
M.A., F-AAA Georgia, South Carolina and North Florida


For three years prior to her new position, Ellen served as Oticon's Eastern U.S. Account Manager for Government Services. Ellen brings with her over 15 years of experience as a clinical audiologist in a variety of settings, including her work as head of the hearing aid department for an ENT clinic, a school for the deaf and various state clinics.



Midwest

Mike Irby
M.S., CCC-A, FAAA (North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Western Montana)


Mike returns to the Midwest after managing accounts for Oticon, Inc. in Arizona and Southern California for the past three years. Before joining Oticon, Mike practiced in ENT clinic settings, most recently as the head audiologist for a large ENT practice.


Robert Reardon, Inside Account Representative

Prior to joining Oticon, Robert worked for 10 years in inside and outside customer support in the Telecommunications and Pharmaceutical Industries. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing.





Andrea Stout
Au.D., CCC-A (Western OH, IN, Southern IL, Eastern MO)


Andrea has been with Oticon since January 2002, serving as Regional Audiologist in the Northeast Region and most recently as Education and Training Specialist in the Midwest Region. Andrea came to Oticon with seven years of hearing aid dispensing and practice management experience.



West


Jodi Krusemark
M.S. (Los Angeles, Orange County, Central Coast & Central CA)


Jodi has been involved in the hearing healthcare industry and manufacturing for over 15 years, and holds licensure in both Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing. Her experience includes positions in management, sales, marketing and product development within the hearing industry, and she has been involved in Oticon's Government Services division for the past two years.

Ron Miller
M.A. CCC-A (Arizona, Palm Springs, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, San Diego)


With 18 years experience as a dispensing audiologist in private practice, hospital, and ENT clinic settings, Ron brings extensive fitting experience to his new capacity as Account Manager for Oticon, Inc. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and a member of ASHA.
