100 Pairs of Hearing Aids for 100 Centenarians
Somerset, NJ April 15 -- Reaching a 100-year milestone is an achievement for anyone -- including a company celebrating 100 years of improving the lives of people with hearing loss. During Oticon's 100th anniversary year, the company will celebrate others who have reached this important milestone by providing a pair of Oticon advanced technology digital hearing aids to 100 centenarians in cities across the country. The goal: to underscore that at any age, the benefits of quality hearing care solutions can improve a person's ability to lead a full and rewarding life.
The leading hearing aid manufacturer will work through Oticon's nationwide network of hearing care partners to select the 100 senior citizens who will be fitted by their local hearing care professional with free Oticon digital hearing aids, including Oticon's new Syncro, advanced technology hearing aid with artificial intelligence. Nominees' will be judged on an up to 250-word essay, written by the hearing care professional or the nominee's family or friends, that demonstrates the individual's lifelong commitment to putting People First and indicates how improved hearing will enable the nominee to continue to play an active, valuable role in the lives of his/her family, community or organization.
