SOMERSET, NJ  March 12-  Oticon Opn™ created a paradigm shift that opened up a world of sound for people with hearing loss. Now, Oticon breaks the rules again to take the open sound experience and the unique benefits of BrainHearing™ to the next level with two revolutionary new technologies that will change expectations about the possibilities of modern hearing solutions. Visit the Oticon exhibit (#1012) at the 2019 American Academy of Audiology Conference to discover how the newest technology from Oticon breaks with the traditional approach to supporting hearing loss in noise to empower people with hearing loss to experience speech understanding in difficult listening situations at the level of people with normal hearing.* Also in play at the Oticon exhibit, a new child-friendly hearing solution that improves speech understanding in simple and complex listening environments and provides access to multiple speakers, without reducing environmental sounds important to incidental learning and safety.

Visitors to the Oticon exhibit can meet the Oticon Government Services team to learn how Oticon serves the unique needs of US veterans through the Veterans Affairs Administration, Department of Defense and other federal agencies. Hearing care professionals looking for knowledge and tools to differentiate their practice, elevate their standard of care, and improve their profit and loss statement can explore tools and resources offered through Oticon Business Development, the industry’s gold standard for business support.

Quick Solutions presentations by Oticon audiologists, offered daily during exhibit hours, give conference participants an opportunity to gain knowledge and earn CEU credits.  The 15-minute mini-learning modules provide insights into a variety of topics including: Improving Fitting Success with Even More Patients; Empowering Patients to Take Charge of Their Listening Needs; and A State-of-the-Art Rechargeable Solution.

Audiology students are encouraged to stop by the Oticon exhibit to learn about Oticon’s ongoing programs to help students develop skills, build professional know-how and stay on track with what is new and noteworthy in the profession.
