ADA is dedicated to ensuring ownership of the audiology profession through the advancement of autonomous practice models. Membership in ADA is open to all audiologists, and audiology students as well. ADA provides access to knowledge tools, resources and relationships to advance best clinical and business practices. It's a dynamic, innovative and fun organization to be involved with, and offers lots of benefits for audiologists in all practice settings. Learn more at audiologist.org.
Here are some of your comments on this series so far:
- I have about 7 years to go until I retire and sell my practice. This course provided very useful information that I needed so that I can start planning.
- This series on unbundling has been very helpful for me to understand the process. Thank you!
- It's very difficult to find unbiased, practical business advice in our profession. Thanks to you and ADA for offering these courses from audiologists who actually walk the walk.

Right Around the Corner
Now that we're in to mid-January (#hardtobelieve!), I thought I'd share a sneak peek of what's in store for February. We have the first Vanderbilt Audiology Journal Club of 2015 with Dr. Erin Picou, an update on vestibular head impulse testing (vHIT), a webinar on support for children with hearing loss, and a week-long webinar series on wireless technology to improve hearing in noise, presented in partnership with the esteemed journal Seminars in Hearing. All of these events are now open for registration - hope to see you there.
Brrrr!
Stay warm! And thanks for reading.
Cheers,
Carolyn
