In the Fall of 2002, the University of Florida Distance Learning AuD program will require a minimum of three years post Master's experience for admission to the Distance Learning Au.D. program. This change is consistent with our primary objective to assist working professionals earn the Au.D. without giving up an established practice or career.
Who is affected by the new requirements?
Unless you will complete your CFY and you will have licensure or ASHA certification by June 10, 2002, you will fall under the new requirements. To accommodate audiologists who will complete their CFY after the application deadline but before the Summer 2002 courses start, we will offer a conditional admission to Summer 2002 term only (Deadline to apply: February 1, 2002). You must apply by the deadline and complete your CFY and produce proof of certification from ASHA or state licensure before your classes
