New Style Hearing Aid Introduced by SeboTek

Share:

A unique, new hearing system with special appeal to non-hearing aid wearers, is being formally introduced. PAC is a Post-Auricular Canal system with the digital sound processor situated along the back of the ear. The system's speaker is a separate component that is worn deep in the ear canal. A nearly transparent wire connects the two pieces.

Developed by SeboTek Hearing Systems of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the new PAC hearing system addresses leading concerns many individuals with a hearing loss cite for not purchasing hearing aids - or for not wearing the hearing aids they previously purchased. The most significant PAC benefits are its remarkable discreetness (PAC virtually disappears into the ear canal and is hard to notice) and its exceptional wearing comfort. The occlusion effect that troubles many hearing aid wearers is dramatically reduced, if not eliminated, with PAC.

The excellent sound quality of PAC is the result of several design features including PAC's digital sound processing, directional microphone system, WDRC and multi-memory programming.

PAC was developed in Tulsa where the company has a high volume, hearing aid dispensing practice. The product development process took more than three years, resulted in six patent filings and involved more than two thousand patient fittings.

A major advantage of PAC is that the system can be worn immediately after the user's first visit to their hearing professionals' office. Most service to PAC instruments can be performed in minutes, right in the dispenser's office.

Software is available in stand-alone and NOAH formats.
