New AG Bell College Scholarship STEM Opportunity

Share:

Through the efforts of members of the College Scholarship Selection Committee and friends of AG Bell, we are able to offer a special opportunity for scholarship applicants who are currently college freshmen, sophomores or juniors in the United States who are majoring in the fields of science, technology, engineering or mathematics (other than pre-med). Several professors with hearing loss in universities across the country have contributed an opportunity for a student who is deaf or hard of hearing to participate in a summer research internship. Students who are chosen will be provided with university housing and a limited stipend. See for example:

To qualify for consideration for this opportunity, you must submit your complete scholarship application to AG Bell no later than 5:00pm EST on January 22, 2016. Applications will be screened, reviewed and scored for the internship opportunity first. Once the review committee has made their selections, your scholarship application will be included in the first round of review by the College Scholarship Committee, regardless of whether or not you were awarded an internship opportunity.
