Westminster, CO - The National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) is issuing a public call for nominations for its 2012 Media Award. This award was established in 1993 to recognize the efforts of writers and producers of news features that serve to heighten public awareness of the hazards of noise. The NHCA Media Award is available to both NHCA members and non-members.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Nominations Task Force;the final selection will be made with the approval of NHCA President Tim Rink. The award winners will be presented a monetary sum and certificate during the NHCA annual conference, to be held in New Orleans, LA on February 23-25, 2012.
The deadline for entries has been extended to November 15, 2011.
