LOUISVILLE, KY-- The National Association Of Future Doctors of Audiology (NAFDA) has added three National Executive Board Officers and two Advisory Board Members.
The University of South Florida (USF) and Nova Southeastern University (NSU) began new four-year Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) recently and both immediately organized NAFDA Chapters.
NSU Chapter Co-Presidents, Shannon Felder and Sybil Prewitt, and NSU Au.D. Candidate, Trisha Lyn, are the new Executive Board Officers from these two programs. The first official duties for Felder, Prewitt and Lyn will be at a NAFDA Board Meeting, February 5th & 6th, in Louisville, Kentucky.
All three newly appointed officers hold Committee Chair positions. Shannon Felder and Sybil Prewitt chair the Public Relations Committee, while Trisha Lyn will be responsible for Alumni Affairs.
In other news, Jerry Northern, HearX, and Rob Wolf, Siemens, have
accepted NAFDA's invitation to become Advisory Board Members.
Northern, already a well-known and respected author to Au.D. Candidates, is editor of Audiology Today.
Rob Wolf is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Siemens Hearing Instruments USA and has played an instrumental role in helping to develop NAFDA's guidelines for Corporate Partnerships.
John Zei, formerly with Siemens and now President/COO at Knowles, Inc., will continue on as an Advisory Board Member with NAFDA.
