If you have intermediate or advanced Spanish skills, join us at the 4th Annual MSHA Spanish Retreat this June! If speaking Spanish is part of your work day, don't miss this fun and stimulating weekend workshop in Spanish in Farmington, MN.
Workshop dates are June 11-13th, beginning with Friday night dinner and concluding at noon on Sunday. 1.2 C.E.Us will be awarded. Hiking on rustic trails, indoor swimming, outdoor camp fires and a meditation labyrinth are available. The focus of the program is bilingual competency for speech pathologists and audiologists. The program is conducted entirely in Spanish with language lessons and debriefings after lectures by Venezuelan Spanish instructor, Mariela Continenza. O.T.'s , P.T.'s and early childhood educators and nurses are also welcome.
Presentations highlights will include "Cleft Palate Issues" (Kelly Nett) and using Latino music and rhythms to stimulate early language development in low functioning children (Rachel Arntson).
Costs
The cost for room and board (dorm room, 2 nights and 5 meals) is $115 and tuition is $160 for early bird registration before March 31st.
