Monthly Review September Line-Up: It's All About Treatment

Can you believe another summer has come and gone and fall is already in full swing? I want to take this opportunity to tell you about some September happenings here on AO.

This month, it's all about treatment. As you read this, we have a week-long conference underway organized by Dr. Ruth Bentler about various aspects of hearing aid selection, fitting and follow up. Hear from the experts regarding what you should be thinking about in terms of your hearing aid clinical processes to improve outcomes with audiologic treatment. This month's 20Q with Gus Mueller features Dr. Gabrielle Saunders discussing auditory training (AT). In addition, we have Dr. Don Schum talking about the goal of treatment - helping our patients understand speech - in his most recent text course, as well as an overview of the latest treatment device from Phonak, Lyric2.
