Minneapolis, October 26, 2010 - MicroTech announced today that Ann Spilker has been named its new Managing Director. In this position, Spilker is responsible for all strategy development, daily operations and personnel growth for MicroTech.
"MicroTech has gone through a complete review of its business operations, brand identity and market approach under Ann's guidance in the last 10 months," said Brandon Sawalich, Senior Vice President for the Starkey Group. "Her organizational talent, charging attitude and management skills make her the ideal choice to lead this team."
Spilker joined the Starkey Group in 2006 and has held many positions within the company including the Director of Sales Events where she oversaw more than 60 customer engagement events annually. Most recently, she served as the Operations Manager for MicroTech. Prior to moving to Minneapolis, she led fundraising teams at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago and ran a local newspaper in Boston. She holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Bradley University.
