Schaumburg, ILL., August 16, 2012 - Audiology Systems Inc., a national partnership of industry professionals, audiologists and local audiology and vestibular instrument experts, announced today that Michel Jurgens has been appointed the company's general manager. In this new position at the newly-formed company, Jurgens will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations including management of a sales/service team that serves close to 30 states, planning of national and regional sales and marketing initiatives, as well as maintaining relationships with the company's shareholders and partners. Jurgens joins Audiology Systems from GN Otometrics, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility during his eight-year tenure, both at the GN Otometrics corporate headquarters in Denmark and at GN Otometrics North America. He joined the company in 2004 as a commercial product manager in Denmark. A series of promotions followed, allowing Jurgens to make substantial contributions to the company's sales and marketing in pivotal positions such as international key accounts director/sales director and manager of the launch and marketing communication department. Most recently, he was the manager of the sales, audiology and marketing department in GN Otometrics North America, where he established a team to drive national market penetration and distributor involvement.

Prior to GN Otometrics, Jurgens was with Rockwool, the world's leading supplier of innovative products and systems based on stone wool, headquartered in Denmark. Jurgens holds a masters degree in marketing and economics from the Copenhagen Business School.
