(Reston, VA - February 2004) Salt Lake City, Utah will play host to the American Academy of Audiology's 16th Annual Convention & Expo from March 31 - April 3, 2004. This year's event promises to be the most successful to date with thousands of audiologists, exhibitors and students expected to be in attendance.
Convention 2004 is the premier event for audiologists and the hearing health industry. Attendees can expect to preview the latest technologies, gather information on ground-breaking discoveries, and learn about state-of-the-art procedures for diagnosing and treating hearing loss and balance disorders. With a full slate of 89 Instructional Courses, 28 Featured Sessions, and numerous Research Poster and Podium Sessions, Pre-Convention Workshops and special events planned, attendees can count on an exceptional educational experience.

This year's Exposition at the Salt Palace Convention Center boasts an expected 190 exhibitors and an impressive 80,000 square feet of exhibits. "This is the place to find the latest innovations and cutting-edge technologies available to audiologists... all under one roof," says Whitelaw.
In addition, a series of special Consumer Workshops on a variety of hearing topics will be held on Wednesday, March 31 from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. The general public is invited to come and learn about tinnitus, hearing aid technology, newborn hearing screening and much more.
