Mclean, VA - The American Academy of Audiology has chosen Laura Fleming Doyle, CAE to be the Executive Director. Ms. Doyle will provide leadership for the Academy and oversee the management of association operations, budget and staff.
With a strong background in health care association management, Ms. Doyle brings more than 15 years of leadership experience to her role as Executive Director. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President for the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) in Falls Church, VA where she was responsible for Board relations, financial management, communications and association operations. Prior to her work with AHP, she was the Director of Council Operations for the American College of Radiology in Reston, VA.

As the Executive Director, Ms. Doyle will work closely with the Board and staff to provide economical, productive and constructive growth of The Academy. She will maintain strategic
organization within the Academy, and establish administrative policies and procedures for effective leadership. In addition, Ms. Doyle will serve as the chief liaison to the Board and Committees and oversee the hiring, management and training of staff. She will also serve as the Academy's link to related professional associations, governmental bodies and agencies, and ensure the financial and legal integrity of the Academy.

A Certified Association Executive (CAE) with a Master of Health Services Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Ms. Doyle is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives. She lives with her husband and five children in Herndon, Virginia.
