Siemens Announces William Lankenau as new President and CEO, and John Krauter as Senior Vice President and CFO

PISCATAWAY, New Jersey - Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc. announced William J. Lankenau has been promoted to President and CEO.
Working for Siemens Hearing Instruments for almost 12 years, Lankenau has extensive experience in the hearing health care industry and has been a vital part of the company's success. Since joining Siemens in 1990 as Vice President of Manufacturing, he has held the positions of Vice President of Operations and most recently, Chief Operating Officer.
Siemens also announced the promotion of CFO John Krauter to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Siemens Hearing Instruments. Krauter joined the company in 1992 as Vice President of Finance. Before joining Siemens Hearing, he was Director of Accounting for Siemens Medical.
Lankenau is a graduate of Columbia University with a Master Degree in Engineering and of New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Krauter, CPA is a graduate of Seton Hall with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
