Sonus-USA has created a ten-member council to serve in an advisory capacity for the Sonus Network. The Advisory Board will serve for a one-year term and is comprised regionally of Network licensee members representing various business models and industry professionals. The primary function of the advisory board is to provide direction and feedback to Sonus management to help improve programs, enhance member practices and bring value to the membership of the Sonus Network.
The kickoff meeting took place at the Melia Resort in Cancun, Mexico, as part of the Sonus Leadership Summit. The primary focus of the Sonus Advisory Board is to provide direction and feedback on Sonus marketing programs and help set the direction for the National Advertising Campaign. The Board will meet again during 2002 in May, August, and November. The 2002 Advisory Board Members include Glenn Street, Izzy Kirsh, Karima Thobani, Terry Russell, Sherry Gaddis, Tami Ike, Pam Metting, Rick Lazich, John Zeigler and Michele Welker. Sonus manufacturing partners from GN ReSound, Phonak and SONIC Innovations will also be invited to participate in future discussions with the Advisory Board.
