Minneapolis, MN - After learning from the early experiences of other manufactures with digital shell technology, Interton has released an improved version of digitally manufactured shells under the brand DigiShell™.
Unlike earlier shells on the market, DigiShell differentiates itself with a smooth polished surface, which is more sanitary and not as prone to collect and hold debris. The second generation shells have a poured vent in all models, including their CIC models. DigiShells start with a laser scan of the ear impression and the computer aided manufacturing process is totally hands-free. Colors available include a smooth finish pink, and translucent, with a matte finish. DigiShells are hypoallergenic and are more impact-resistant than the previous generation of digital shells.
