Minneapolis, MN - Finesse is the first 100% digital hearing instrument specifically designed for patients transitioning from non-WDRC analog or programmable instruments into a digital platform. Some patients reject digital instruments because they cannot successfully adapt to the WDRC sound processing scheme after using output compression based instruments. Finesse addressed this issue and combined pure output compression with digital sound processing to meet the unique hearing needs of these particular patients. Finesse was designed for experienced hearing aid users who were having difficulty adapting to a new hearing instrument prescription. Finesse is the only digital instrument that does not incorporate input compression or WDRC, to afford maximal sound benefits to previous users.
Finesse has 3 memory capability and is available in BTE, custom, and has optional directional in the canal model. Finesse is available in a power version and can be programmed quickly with CompuFit fitting software.
