WHAT: The 14th Symposium on Cochlear Implants in children, a conference involving national and global leaders in the field of cochlear implants will come together to share research and best clinical practices on providing hearing restoration to deaf children. Attending scientists and clinicians provide cochlear implants to deaf children, transforming lives and restoring a human sense with this extraordinary medical intervention.
Among the topics to be explored are educational attainment, literacy, music, bilingual families, long term support, and surgical issues for children with cochlear implants. For the full program, visit the conference website www.CI2014usa.com.
