Denver, C.O. – The International Congress on Bone Conduction Hearing and Related Technologies has announced its 8th International Conference, OSSEO 2023, will be hosted by the Colorado School of Medicine from Sept. 6 to Sept. 9, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center.
The conference will provide a forum for clinical and scientific experts from around the world to present their most recent research and clinical experiences relating to bone conduction hearing and related technologies. The conference invites hearing scientists, audiologists, otolaryngologists, biomedical engineers, and industry to meet and share the cutting-edge developments that define the current state of the art in bone conduction hearing.
“The Colorado School of Medicine is honored to host this year’s conference,” said conference chair Dr. Stephen Cass, celebrated clinician and professor of otolaryngology. “We look forward to offering a diverse program featuring some of the world’s leading ENT specialists in one of the most unique cities in the US.”
This is the first installment of the conference since 2019, which saw more than 600 participants from 30 countries.
Meeting themes include the evolution of bone conduction hearing, sharing clinical best-practices and outcomes, and global hearing health and advocacy for conductive and mixed hearing loss. Participants can expect keynote lectures, panel sessions, podium and poster sessions, and an exhibit hall with opportunities to interact with a variety of industry.

Topics include: New Technologies; Expanding Indications; Current Clinical Trials; Binaural Hearing; Single-Sided Hearing Loss; Pediatrics; Access to Care in Low-Resource Environments; Evaluation, Fitting and Verification; Bone Conduction Hearing Science; Surgical Considerations and Outcomes; Middle Ear Devices; Measuring Hearing Outcomes; Future Directions; and Atresia.
