NHS 2004, The International Conference on Newborn Hearing Screening, Diagnosis and Intervention
Villa Erba Congress Center (Cernobbio), Italy
May 27-29, 2004
Early detection and intervention of hearing impairment in infants and children is becoming a standard of care in the vast majority of the countries around the world. A successful series of Conferences addressed all components of care required to develop successful programmes of newborn hearing screening, diagnosis, and intervention, in 1998, 2000 and 2002.
In 2004, on May 27-29, colleagues and friends from all over the world will meet once again in Italy (at Villa Erba, Cernobbio, on the Como Lake) to discuss and share ideas, models and results. The NHS 2004 Conference will address the most recent research in newborn hearing screening, audiologic and medical diagnosis, and intervention for infants with hearing loss. Both basic scientific advances and clinical studies will be presented. The conference will include keynote addresses by distinguished scientists and clinicians as well as round tables and platform and poster presentations by colleagues from throughout the world.
Scientific sessions will be complemented by a comprehensive Exhibition. Ample time will be allowed for all attendees to visit the exhibits and speak with exhibit representatives. The program schedule is arranged to maximise contact among participants.
