Siemens has introduced directionality and power to its popular INFINITI™ 3 BTE line. The INFINITI 3 S2D offers a directional microphone while the INFINITI 3 S2P provides high power.
The INFINITI 3 S2D has a single directional microphone with two ports and is always in directional mode. This feature may provide better intelligibility for patients who are frequently in noisy environments. It is designed to cover a wide range of hearing loss from mild to severe, flat to ski-slope. The high-powered INFINITI 3 S2P is designed for severe hearing loss and is well-suited for pediatric fittings due to its mid-sized case and compatibility with a variety of assistive devices.
These new mid-size BTEs are multi-memory instruments and have six parameters that can be programmed utilizing CONNEXX™ including overall gain, high frequency, low frequency and slope controls, MPO and AGC-I. The INFINITI 3 S2D and S2P utilize a 13 battery and have such standard features as manual volume control, audio input, memory button and programmable telecoil.
