Cooke brings over five years of experience in the areas of web content development and project management to Ida Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, he developed and managed long-term partnerships between the U.S. Department of Defense and academic institutions in the United States and Europe, utilizing the web and social media to maintain network of partners. He has worked for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Washington, D.C. as a Senior Project Manager.
Cooke holds a Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bates College.

Nielsen comes to Ida Institute from Deloitte with over 10 years of experience in communications and learning development and design in the area of corporate social responsibility. She has also worked in educational publishing in the UK and has experience with university-level teaching at the Universities of Copenhagen and Oxford.
Nielson holds a Masters of Art in German and English from the University of Copenhagen and a Ph.D. in German literature from the University of Oxford.
The new team members replace Anders Sloth and Eva Marianne Nielsen who have completed their work on the development and launch of Ida's e-Learning Laboratory.
