SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - ICS Medical, a leading manufacturer of diagnostic systems for otoneurologic testing, has introduced CHARTR EP with PediABR Version 3.0, a software package that, when combined with CHARTR OAE with 1KHz tympanometry, is a complete diagnostic system for following up with infants that fail initial hearing screenings. The new software release features updated default pediatric protocols, tone burst normative data and an improved bone conduction capability, among many other improvements and developments. CHARTR EP with PediABR will be available in September, through ICS distributors.
"The demand for identifying hearing loss in babies is increasing steadily," said Michelle Petrak, Ph.D., audiologic assessment product manager for ICS. "CHARTR EP with PediABR improves the diagnostic process and simplifies the evaluation and management of diagnostic data, making it an extremely valuable, and timely,
clinical tool."
In addition to its PediABR features, CHARTR EP offers a complete battery of neurodiagnostic and central auditory tests, including ECoG, P300, 40 Hz testing, MLR and LLR. The entire system can be stored easily on a portable computer that can also support ENG and VNG capabilities.
New features of CHARTR EP with PediABR Version 3.0 include:
non-test ear.
Those who already use CHARTR EP may qualify for a free upgrade and should contact their distributor for more information.
