We did it again! We are pleased to announce that HearUSA has been awarded Health Network Standards Accreditation from URAC, a Washington, DC-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry.
“HearUSA should be commended for meeting strict quality standards,” said URAC President and CEO Kylanne Green. “It is critically important for healthcare organizations to make a commitment to quality and accountability. URAC accreditation is a demonstration of that commitment.” URAC, an independent, nonprofit organization, is a well-known leader in promoting healthcare quality through its accreditation, education, and measurement programs. URAC’s Health Network Standards Accreditation includes key quality benchmarks for network management, provider credentialing, quality management and improvement, and consumer protection, providing a symbol of excellence for organizations to showcase their validated commitment to quality and accountability.
"We prioritize hearing care and provider accountability, best practices, and measurable patient outcomes," said Dr. Cindy Beyer, audiologist and vice president of HearUSA. "The process of undergoing accreditation with URAC, the nation's largest accrediting body for health care, has been instrumental in guiding us toward a higher standard of care. “
With thousands of hearing care providers across the country, we are proud to be the nation’s first independently accredited hearing health network awarded Health Network Accreditation from URAC. And we are pleased that you choose to be a part of that success! Thank you for being a part of HearUSA.
