Zero-cost cloud software solution allows plan providers time-saving tool for everyday patient activities.
Minneopolis, MN - The nation's largest provider of hearing healthcare benefits in the United States, HearPO, is announcing the launch of its first referral management system. The new electronic system allows HearPO to further assist participating hearing healthcare service providers with managing and facilitating their HearPO referrals with maximum speed, efficiency and ease of use.
HearPO providers may now receive added assistance with and notification for processes from appointments and referrals to fitting and payment, at no extra charge. The system also gives HearPO patients a more robust set of follow-up communications so that they may arrive at their appointments with more information and a higher comfort level. While not mandatory for providers, many are poised to use the tool in order to reduce physical paper work as well as to gain access to patient information anytime from the cloud.
Each provider who implements the new system will see increased operational efficiency in their office, as the tool features pre-populated screens based on each patient's plan, negating the need for data entry. Additionally, providers will be able to view an automatic presentation of hearing aid availability, price guides and battery program information specific to each patient.
"With this new customer relationship management functionality we are able to support providers with CRM marketing efforts," said HearPO Director, Amber Lund. "The system allows us to schedule appointments and better target patient communications to bring them [back] to our providers, another benefit of being a part of the HearPO network."
The HearPO referral management system is launching in phases through 2012. To help make the transition to the system as smoothly and quickly as possible, the company is offering a full complement of live webinars and on-demand online training to providers.
