Bethesda, MD: The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), the nation’s leading organization representing people with hearing loss, would like to recognize the national sponsors who are generously supporting the 2016 Walk4Hearing. Without their contributions the Walk4Hearing would not be possible. We sincerely thank our national sponsors for their commitment to raising awareness for people with hearing loss through the Walk4Hearing.

“Without our national sponsors the Walk4Hearing would never have achieved the level of success that is has. We are extremely grateful that they have stepped up and made an investment in supporting those with hearing loss,” said Ronnie Adler, director of the Walk4Hearing. “Our national sponsors often contribute much more than money. They frequently come out to Walks and volunteer time and energy to support the event and the walkers, which truly shows how dedicated they are to raising awareness for hearing loss.”
The Walk4Hearing increases awareness about hearing loss, helps to eradicate the stigma associated with it, and raises funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. The money raised serves several purposes, assisting both local programs to provide much needed services for their hearing loss community, as well as furthering the efforts of HLAA in their national support and advocacy work. Since its inception in 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $10.5 million and has welcomed 72,000 walkers, making it the nation's largest and fastest growing hearing loss fundraising and public awareness walk in the country. HLAA is hosting 22 Walk4Hearing events throughout the country this year.
The theme for this year’s Walk4Hearing is Step Up for People with Hearing Loss and Communication Access! With this we are issuing a Call to Action for people to step up and advocate for better communication access for themselves. Read more about this exciting initiative.
