The Hearing Journal and AudiologyOnline are conducting our annual survey of hearing healthcare providers in North America who dispense hearing aids as part of their practice.
We would be grateful if you would complete the following survey as soon as possible. Your answers will form the basis for an upcoming Hearing Journal cover story and will also be reported by AudiologyOnline. Reports on the findings of our annual survey are consistently among the most eagerly anticipated and frequently referenced articles that we publish. Therefore, your response to this survey is extremely important.
As usual, the 2009 dispenser survey includes questions about you and your practice, the products and services you provide, and your views on The Hearing Journal. This year's survey also features a special section on professional ethics in hearing healthcare. This section presents a number of situations that practitioners may face and asks your views on possible ethical questions that these scenarios raise.
Your answers to all the questions in this survey are completely confidential. No names will be reported and the data submitted will be presented in the aggregate so no response can be matched with any individual respondent. Therefore, we ask that you please be completely candid in answering this survey.
While most of the questions are in a multiple-choice format, we hope you will give written comments where they are requested.
