Portland, OR - - Sonus Corp. (AMEX: SSN), the largest audiology-based retailer of hearing instruments in North America with 1,023 company-owned and affiliated hearing centers, announced that it has named Greg Schott to the Company's Board of Directors, increasing the total number of directors to eight. Mr. Schott will also serve as a member of the audit committee.
Mr. Schott, 37, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Agile Software Corporation, a developer of supply chain software that helps manufacturing companies work with customers and suppliers to manage their product information and collaborate across extended supply chains. He began his career at Agile as Vice President of Business Development in 1999.
From 1994-1999, Mr. Schott was with Digital Generation Systems, Inc., which develops software, hardware and manages services over a virtual private network to deliver media content digitally. He served in positions of increasing responsibility during his tenure at Digital Generation, beginning as Director of Operations (1994-1995) and progressed to Director, Business Development and New Product Development (1995-1996), Vice President, Operations (1996-1997), and Vice President, Marketing (1997-1999). Mr. Schott has also held positions at The Boston Consulting Group and Westinghouse Electric Corp. Mr. Schott received an MBA from Stanford University in 1991 and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University in 1986.
