MADISON, Wis. - Legendary golfer Arnold Palmer has renewed his contract with Rayovac to promote the Company's line of hearing aid batteries.
Palmer has represented Rayovac since 1992 and has appeared in numerous advertising and other campaigns, both alone and with members of his family. His new three-year contract calls for appearances in trade and consumer publication print advertisements. Palmer has publicly stated that he believes Rayovac manufactures the best hearing aid battery on the market.
"We are very pleased that Arnold Palmer will continue to be a member of the Rayovac hearing aid battery team," said Jerry Albright, division vice president, hearing aid. "We know that Arnold Palmer is an extremely credible and trustworthy spokesperson because he only associates with companies and products he believes in. We're proud to note that he not only successfully promotes Rayovac hearing aid batteries, he also uses them in his own hearing aids," Albright added.
Some of the other companies that Palmer has associations with include: Pennzoil/Shell, Office Depot, Rolex, Lexington Home Furnishings, Eisenhart Wallcoverings, Home Depot, Verizon, The Golf Channel, Callaway and GlaxoSmithKline. He anticipates playing in his 50th Masters event next April at the age of 74.
Rayovac, with a 65% market share worldwide, is the number one selling hearing aid battery in the world.
