Charlotte Greve Joins US Operation from Otometrics Denmark.
Schaumburg, IL - January 30, 2013 – GN Otometrics, the world leader in hearing and balance diagnostic systems, announced today that it has hired Charlotte Greve to run marketing and communication in the company’s U.S. headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. Greve, a veteran of Otometrics in Denmark, recently stepped into the newly created position of marketing and communication manager. She will report directly to Uffe Bjerg and will join the management team in Schaumburg.
“Charlotte is a very experienced marketing professional with unparalleled knowledge of our business and our products,” said Bjerg, vice president of GN Otometrics North America. “When we were looking for someone to lead our marketing efforts in the U.S., Charlotte was a natural choice. With our deep product pipeline and new distribution strategy, the U.S. market is poised for substantial growth. So it was critical that we put the right person in this pivotal marketing position who could maximize those opportunities. Charlotte is that person and we are very glad to have her in the U.S.”
In her role as marketing and communication manager, Greve will create and oversee the execution of a marketing and branding strategy to drive and expand Otometrics’ leadership position in the hearing and balance diagnostic systems markets by focusing on the company’s new product introductions and innovative distribution networks. She also is tasked with building a marketing infrastructure to establish new products in the market, promote existing brands and deliver company news rapidly and with maximum impact. In addition to her responsibilities as part of the Otometrics management team, Greve will manage the Schaumburg marketing team.

Greve joins GN Otometrics North America from GN Otometrics in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she most recently oversaw the worldwide launch of the AURICAL fitting solution, one of the most business-critical launches in the company’s history. Additionally, in her role as team leader, she oversaw all marketing efforts on behalf of another of the company’s most successful brands, the MADSEN Astera clinical audiometer. Prior to that position, Greve was the international marketing manager, Global Brand Center at GN Resound, which is responsible for global marketing planning and high-end hearing aid launches. Before that position, Greve handled project management/concept development for Nørgård Mikkelsen, a top advertising agency in Denmark – primarily for larger retail accounts.
Greve holds a masters degree in international business and modern languages from the University of Southern Denmark. Additionally, she is a certified business coach. Greve is bilingual and speaks both German and English fluently.
