GN Otometrics Hires Inside Technical Support Audiologist

BLOOMINGTON, Minn., May 2003 -- GN Otometrics, the world leader in hearing and balance diagnostic systems, hired Laura Prigge as inside technical support audiologist. Prigge, who works at the Bloomington facility, will be responsible for supporting GN Otometrics sales and distribution by providing clinical and technical support for the full line of GN Otometrics products. Her responsibilities include providing customer phone support, product training, distributor and trade show support, as well as clinical field testing.
"Laura will be instrumental in providing clinical and training support to our sales organizations," said Terry Ross, vice president of sales for North America. "She will be a great asset for ensuring that our customers are adequately trained and knowledgeable about our products."
Prigge joined GN Otometrics from a hearing aid manufacturer, where she worked in training and customer service. Prior to that, she conducted audiological evaluations on children, adults and geriatric patients at a retail hearing center. Prigge has made a number of industry presentations on digital and programmable hearing aid technology and fitting advanced hearing devices. She received her master of arts degree in audiology from the University of Connecticut's Childhood Hearing Impairment Program and is a member of the American Speech, Language Hearing Association, American Academy of Audiology, and the International Hearing Society.
